Paula Slier is a global broadcast, radio and print journalist, channel head, news editor, and war correspondent.
For 18 years she was based in the Middle East where she headed up the Russia Today (RT) office. She has reported from the frontlines of Israel, Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Iraq and Afghanistan , and yet she missed the biggest war of her life – the one in her home and workplace.
This is Paula’s story. It is a story of love, betrayal, hope and ambition. But mostly it is a story about how, in her search for love, Paula was blinded and trapped by a conman who broke her heart, stole her entire life savings and is attempting to ruin her reputation.
